Choreographed by Isadora Duncan circa 1910. Reconstructed by Hortense Kooluris. Restaged from Anna Duncan's version of 1927 and Irma Duncan's staging of 1931. In 1978 Kooluris staged this work for a group of ten.
During an American tour, the ensemble of six ‘Isadorables’ performed Southern Roses on December 30, 1919 in San Francisco (from program).
Hortense Kooluris staged and performed this work with Adrienne Barouth, Jeanne Bresciani, Lori Belilove, Barbara Kane, Julie Keefer, Judy Ann Landon, and Cynthia R. Millman at the Centenary Dance Company program at the Riverside Dance Festival in May 1977.
